PureSOx dry dock services in overview

Dry dock time is a busy period with strict schedules to keep. To ensure that your PureSOx system gets the attention it needs, we support you in three phases:

• Pre-assessment
  Around six months before you dry dock, one of our service engineers will attend your vessel to examine the condition of your PureSOx system. If you have an Alfa Laval Service Agreement for PureSOx, your regular Condition Assessment covers this step.
• Tailored recommendations
  Based on the pre-assessment results, we recommend from the following options to meet your system’s needs:
  • Dry Docking Kits
    These are pre-prepared kits containing basic renewal parts for key system components.
  • Repairs
    If the pre-assessment reveals corrosion that needs attention in dry dock, we’ll provide a repair quotation.
  • Upgrades
    If there is potential for upgrades or optimization, we’ll provide a separate quotation for these improvements.
• Optional supervision
  The crew will install any parts or upgrades in dry dock, but one of our service engineers can supervise and support upon request. Our engineer will guide the crew through unfamiliar steps and ensure that the work is correctly done.

Condition Assessment

During a Condition Assessment, our experts inspect your PureSOx scrubber and provide real insights into its current condition. This can be done as a pre-inspection for dry docking, preferably six months in advance. After the inspection, our technical scrubber specialists will provide a tailored offer for your dry docking needs, well in advance of your dry dock slot.
